                                                       Sherpaland Trekking

This hiking leads through the area where Lobsang and most of our guides and porters are born and raised. It is situated south of Solo Khumbu.

We start by jeep, going to Sirise. The first nine days you're walking through an area that is hardly visited by tourists. During the trekking you get to know the everyday "Nepali life" and your guides and porters can tell you beautiful stories about the local customs. The visit to Lobsang's former school makes this trekking very special.

The highest point of this trekking is around 4000 meters at Pikey Peak, but if you think this is to high you can go around. From lesser altitude you can also enjoy the beautiful scenery of the high mountains of Solo Khumbu. From Ngaur you walk on the classic Everest Trail, heading Lukla. It is not used much nowadays as most tourists fly to Lukla.

The trekking ends in Shivalaya. From here you travel back to Kathmandu by jeep.

During the trekking you camp out because there are no guesthouses in this scarcely visited area. If you wish the trekking can be extended with some extra days up to the high situated lake Dudh Kund.
